I LOVED Jeff "Mallard"

Looking over these fine photos and wonderful Jeff stories tonight... Little Lupin looks over my shoulder, "Ohhh Daddy... Is THAT Jeff Maurer that died? I LOVED him so much! He was so funny and nice with that fuzzy beard and sometimes brought us honey, right?" Yes Lupin, this is that very wonderful Jeff Maurer. "Sylvie likes to call him Jeff Mallard, cuz he's always talkin' about birds, but I just call him Jeff Maurer. Do you think he's really gone?" No honey... He'll never be gone, as long as we keep telling his stories.
